I see camera stands, cameras, mics, etc. i start shredding with some friends talking bikes, talking music. The Director walks over and asked me if i wanted to be in the video, i simply asked what the video was for, he said a music video so i got the run down and did my thing. i never heard Raheem Cohen before untill a couple weeks ago & let me tell you the music is really good. i am really excited i said yes to making a small appearance because the music is awesome, a funky, soulful, fresh young band out of my neighborhood.

Today's Throwback Thursday includes one of the most notorious riders of Los Angeles, not only can he shred on his BMX he can dash past you on his track bike. Hernan Montenegro or "hern" was coming up in alley cats, drag races, etc. a few years back here in Los Angeles. I remember seeing him at every race and i already knew the outcome he wil be 1st. I used to race in these alleycats but always knew "hern" will be there. This video is without a doubt one of my favorite videos that dropped and gives you a good feeling when you see it. Iremember walking in to orange 20 to a friendly hello from Kyle and Ace boogie about 3 years ago. At the time i used to like going to O20 browsing, buying all my bike needs and what not.That day i bought two dvd's that just dropped, one being Death Pedal 2 & the other was The Revival, i couldn't wait to get home and unwrap this and shove it in my dvd player. the year was early 2010 and i was into like most of my friends, big tires, long handle bars & jumping everything i can jump off of! it feels like it was yesterday, when everything blew up and became a huge thing to own a fixed gear. This video was the day of the premiere in NYC and there is some great footage of what fgfs used to be.
